  • NetXL Bulletin 2 - Jan 9, 2008

We have had several questions concerning the NetXL being dropped at the end of the month. There was some confusion that we were dropping dial-up Internet services. That is NOT the case. NetXL was a software program that you would have installed to help make DIAL-UP connections a little faster than a standard dial-up connection. NONE of the other services that RTC provides will be discontinued. Dial-up subscribers will NOT be affected except for acceleration of their connection.

RTC Dial-up is NOT being discontinued. RTC DSL is NOT being discontinued. RTC Broadband Wireless is NOT being discontinued.

If you have any further questions, please RTC Internet Support at 486-2300 or help@rtccom.net

Again, we are NOT DISCONTINUING ANY INTERNET SERVICES. Thank you for your time and attention.

  • RTC NetXL Service ending Jan 31st - Jan 9, 2008

We wish to inform you that we will not be renewing our relationship with the parent company that distributes our dial-up accelerator, NetXL. Because of this, NetXL will cease to work at the end of the month of January. We researched how many dial-up users were still using NetXL over the past several months and have determined that at this time we have no plans to offer another dial-up acceleration product. This will only affect dial-up Internet customers that have subscribed to the NetXL acceleration platform. DSL and Broadband Wireless subscribers can disregard this message.

For those affected by this decision, you might think about one of RTC Communications high-speed Internet offerings. For more information call customer service at 812-486-3211.

If you have any questions concerning the NetXL bulletin, please feel free to contact:
